Some babies love playing with water, but when it comes to swimming in the pool, it may not be easy for them to learn the skill. However, there are a few exceptions, like this little girl in the video.
This toddler, Elizabeth, has been swimming since she was just 16 months old after her parents took her to Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) lessons.
From then on, Elizabeth “wouldn’t let a day pass without going to the pool to ‘go swimeen!’” her parents wrote on the blog Teach My Baby to Swim.
In this clip, we see Elizabeth waiting for her dad to say the magic word “go” so that she can start swimming with what looks like a toy in her hand.
When Elizabeth does swim, it’s quite impressive, especially considering her age.
While watching this clip, it’s normal for one to worry about the toddler’s safety, but rest assured that her dad is keeping a close eye on her.
“In the video, my husband was not in the pool and she looked very much alone,” her mom explains on the blog. “He said he was in the pool before, but he had wanted to stay on deck that time because she was starting to swim farther and it was faster to get to her by running across the deck and jumping in.”
Be sure to watch this toddler’s awesome swimming skills in the video.
