Bored with cauliflower?—Here are two ways of making it that will definitely liven it up

Who would have thought that an underrated vegetable such as cauliflower could be jazzed up like this? With the right seasonings, spices and additional ingredients, the cauliflower can become the star of any dish. In this video, we learn two new ways to enjoy cauliflower; it takes lead in the form of a savory breakfast frittata and then debuts as a spicy crispy Chinese style dish.

Here are some more ways that you can yum it up with cauliflower:
1. Cauliflower Rice- A low carb dish for that skinny fix. Chop the head and leaves off your cauliflower and separate into florets. Add it to a food processor and pulse until it gets fine and rice-like. Heat some oil in a skillet, along with some fresh garlic, add the cauliflower rice and saute until soft. Serve as you would rice

2. Roasted cauliflower- As simple as separating your cauliflower into florets, season with salt and pepper and a drizzle of olive oil, onto a baking sheet and into the oven at 400 degrees F. Roasted cauliflower is nutty, aromatic and fuss-free. You can take things up a notch by topping with grated parmesan and lemon juice.

3. Cauliflower Soup- Take your roasted or boiled cauliflower up another step by pureeing in a blender with some milk or broth to form a smooth creamy soup. Try adding some garlic and fresh herbs too.

Here are two ways you can prepare yourself!

WAY #1
INGREDIENTS:

1 Cauliflower
1/4 cup Scallion
2 cloves of Garlic
1/2 cup Ham
3 Egg
1/8 cup Oregano
Salt Pepper to taste
1 ½ cup Mozzarella
1 ¼ tsp Olive oil

PREPARATION:
1.Cut off the base of the cauliflower root. Halve the cauliflower. With a grater, use the medium-sized holes (the size commonly used to grate cheese.) to grate the cauliflower in a bowl. Add scallion, garlic, ham, eggs, oregano, salt and pepper mozzarella. Mix well and set aside.

2. Add olive oil onto a baking tray with baking sheet. Place the mixture on the baking tray covered with mozzarella. Set the oven to 400ºF and bake for 20 minutes.

3. Serve and enjoy.

WAY #2
INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup Flour
1/2 cup Cornstarch
Salt Pepper to taste
1 ½ cup Water
1 Cauliflower
Oil
1 tbsp Olive oil
1/4 cup Scallion
2 cloves of Garlic
1/3 cup Red green pepper
1/8 cup Soy sauce
1/4 cup Ketchup
50 ml Water
1/8 cup Paprika
1/4 cup Vineger
1/8 cup Cornstarch
20 ml Water

PREPARATION:

1. In a bowl. Add flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper and water. Stir well. Set aside.

2. Cut off the base of the cauliflower root. Cut the cauliflower into florets. Then coat it with batter.

3, Add oil to a pan. Bring to boil. Add step 3 into the pan. Stir-fry till golden. Take out and set aside.

4, Add oil to a skillet. Add scallion, garlic, red green pepper, soy sauce, ketchup, water, salt, pepper, vinegar, cornstarch with water. Stir well.

5 .Place step 3 into step 4. Stir-fry.

6. Enjoy!
